Abstract

The design of artificial intelligence (AI) systems makes use of inductive methods based on the vast amount of data made available on the Internet, rather than instructional methods as was the case until the late 1980s. Current inductive algorithms show alongside considerable differences, some interesting similarities with the functioning of human intelligence (UI).
