The stadium denier

Abstract

The discovery by paleoclimatologists of short periods in the past during which there has been a large and sudden increase in global temperature seems to offer arguments for the camp of climate deniers. If intense climatic warming phenomena took place well before the release of carbon dioxide of fossil origin into the atmosphere, then even the current phase of global increase in temperatures could not be attributed to human activities. However, these are arguments that are not only specious, but also easily demolished.
