Abstract

The vast majority of terrestrial ecosystems and agricultural activities that provide basic nourishment to human populations are based on the activity of pollinating insects. The climate crisis, which adds up to the toxic environmental crisis that insists on agriculture, causes a serious decline in pollinating insects - farmed bees and wild pollinating insects. Climate change modifies plant-pollinator interactions, causes displacement of invasive species, compromises nectar production causing, overall, a serious "pollination crisis".
