Through the portraits of two women, from the films «À tout de suite» by Benoît Jacquot and «The pillow book» by Peter Greenaway, we seek to identify what Lacan was able to transmit to us in his Seminar XX concerning the female position. Each of the two women is a unique variation on her feminine position. In this, they teach us about love and desire. As for enjoyment, it goes beyond the phallus and opens onto the unlimited, the without-measure. The use of the letter allows a woman to tuck in the ravages.
