Abstract

This article examines the absence of figuration and representation within the field of psychosis, first in relation to the function of the pictogram and then to maternal rêverie as a generator of figuration or as a carrier of psychotic potential. The concept of primary delusional thinking is also analyzed, aimed at suturing a lack within the family romance. Finally, some notes are provided on the transformations that can arise from the structuring function of the analyst's rêverie in contact with psychotic concretizations and on how such rêverie can proceed as an act of construction.
