Abstract

Through the portrait of two women, in the films À tout de suite by Benoît Jacquot and The pillow book by Peter Greenaway, we seek to identify what Lacan was able to transmit to us in his Seminar XX concerning the female position. Each one of them is a unique variation on her
feminine position. In this, they teach us about love and desire. As for enjoyment, it goes beyond the phallus and opens onto the unlimited, the without measure. The use of the letter allows a woman to tuck in the ravages.
