This note discusses a small red-figure volute krater already considered Campanian or Paestan, for which the attribution to the Sommavilla Painter Etruscan workshop is proposed. The scene painted on the vase would be a rare case of representation of a masked figure in forms clearly inspired by the greek theatrical costume to evoke a satyrical musical performance.
