Abstract

This paper discusses a number of points of Jorge Rodríguez’s general theory of law, namely: (i) the concept of legal positivism; (ii) the variety of hierarchical relationships among norms; (iii) Kelsen’s “alternative clause”; (iv) the logical form of power-conferring norms; (v) the anti-realist theory of interpretation based on the concept of “easy case”.
