Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- The submission file includes an English abstract, keywords and contact person working languages.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration for publication in another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The text has one-and-a-half line spacing; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- A short author(s) profile is provided in a separate file.
Articles and Essays
This section aims to create a scientific forum by bringing together authoritative, sound and original contributions which investigate authors and texts, topics and issues relating to English and Anglophone literatures and cultures. Such contributions are also meant to provide insights into relevant research fields as well as theoretical and methodological approaches.

Reviews, Notes, and Interviews
This section aims to help the research community to stay abreast of new developments by hosting authoritative reviews of literary works written in English or dealing with English and Anglophone contexts. It also welcomes notes and interviews capable of throwing light on notable texts, events, and authors.

Copyright Notice
During the 24 months following their date of publication, articles’ files are available for download only on subscription. After the embargo period, contents will be freely accessible in compliance with the Creative Commons Generic Licence version 4.0 (cc. By 4.0). From the date of publication and during the embargo period, the copyright of each article is owned by the publisher. At the end of the embargo, the work’s copyright reverts to the author.
As a rule, the journal does not charge authors for the publication of their articles.
However, if an author wishes to request immediate Open Access publication of his/her contribution, without waiting for the end of the embargo period, a fee of EUR 500,00 will be charged. In order to request this option, please contact our administrative office (amministrazione@edizioniets.com) and the journal manager (journals@edizioniets.com) indicating: the title of your article, the details of the issue in which it appears, the details of the person to whom the invoice should be addressed, and whether references to research funding should be made.
