Artificial intelligence and human foolishness

Abstract

Starting with an article about the latest version of the talking robot from November 2022, ChatGPT4, a reflection is developed on the implications of this use of I.A. technology for commercial purposes and thus for profit, and underlines its implications, limitations and dangers in the absence of a strict regulatory framework. This is in contrast to the indispensable and profitable use of AI in science and for socially useful purposes. Finally, one comments on an open letter from various representatives of the AI technology world advocating a brief halt to its development, and the ideology behind this request is illustrated. Behind this request, an ideology that is considered dangerous and harmful for various reasons.
