Abstract

In the previous issue we published in the focus section some of the many speeches that animated the study day "Marcello Buiatti: a legacy for the future" held in Pisa on 13 May 2022 in memory of the geneticist who died in October 2020. As promised, we continue in this number by proposing the interesting contribution of Marco Buiatti, son and collaborator of Marcello.
