La Sirenetta is a residential complex whose geometries are permeated with the witty and contrasting alternation of solids and voids, that is the interaction of the effects that a set of forms produce one on the other: they are the result of deep cuts and lacerations in the matter, which gives life to a reciprocal dynamism between inside and outside. The whole building section is set on the repetition of several planes that cross the internal space, generating intersections and edgy vertices. The rhythm of this process becomes even more interesting thanks to the balanced use of solids and voids so that the volume composition does not look excessively rigid, despite the almost exclusive use of reinforced concrete.
