Author Guidelines

L’Italia Dialettale considers publication proposals written in Italian, English, French, Spanish, or German language.

Authors can submit their proposals for publication in two ways: through this website or by e-mail (to italiadialettale@edizioniets.com). In the latter case as well, the proposal’s management and workflow throughout publication will be recorded on the journal website.

The text of the contribution submitted must be anonymous and not contain any reference to the identity of the author(s); otherwise, the proposal will be automatically rejected.

In the case of a proposal submitted via e-mail, a Word document containing the personal data of the author(s): (first name, surname, title of the contribution, affiliation, e-mail address) must be attached to the article as a separate file.

Proposals must comply with the journal's editorial standards [link]; otherwise, they will be automatically excluded from the evaluation process.

Proposals must be submitted by the end of April of the year preceding the publication of the issue.

Authors are invited to register to this journal, and then make a submission to this journal via the Submission wizard. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk-reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper.
