Lexicography in Apulia and Salento from its beginnings to the present day

Abstract

It presents an outline of lexicography in Apulia and Salento from its 19th-century beginnings to the present day, broken down according to the type of dictionaries: areal dictionaries (including the most important dialect dictionary in the world, the Vocabolario
dei dialetti salentini by Gerhard Rohlfs), methodical dictionaries, sectorial dictionaries and dictionaries of individual cities and places, in turn divided by area (Dauno-Apennine, Apulo- Barese, Salento).
