About the Journal

The journal Cura e Giustizia is a cultural project sprung from the need to provide a scientific basis for reflection on the increasingly complex relationships between law (in particular judicial activity) and the attention due to the needs and rights of people affected by the application of the law: not only victims, but also the accused, the sentenced and all those involved in the experience of injustice and in the possible paths to justice.

This journal aims to promote interdisciplinarity between the legal-criminal, philosophical, psychological and sociological fields against which the need for a relationship between justice and care is analysed and measured.

In addition to the section on "Studies and Research", the structure also covers disciplinary "Dialogues and Intersections" and orientational "Charts and Maps" through readings, interviews and multivoice dialogues. The common thread linking the various sections is the focus on language and linguistic analysis.

In addition to reflection for the scientific community, the journal aims to serve not only professionals but also a wider public interested in the relationship between "care and justice", given that there is currently no journal in the Italian scientific publishing panorama that combines the two dimensions in an interdisciplinary way in relation to the above-mentioned areas.

One of the organs of the journal is the Ethics Committee. This body does not have a general review function for published articles, but is specific and limited to those articles that, by virtue of their content or research method, deal with personal, sensitive or judicial data. The Ethics Committee is activated by the Scientific Director once the peer-review process has been successfully completed and before the manuscript is sent to the publisher.
