Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The submission was made completely anonymous for the peer review process by deleting any reference to the author in the header or body of the article.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Essays
The section ‘Essays’ mostly includes monographic articles. Conference papers that are esteemed of relevance and interest to the chosen topic are also published.
Misc articles
Submissions that do not match the monographic topic chosen for one issue's “Essays” are in this section. Proposals undergo the same double blind peer-review process as “Essays”; this takes place under the supervison of journal editors instead of guest editors.
Notes
Short articles, comments, introductory remarks, preliminary results that author(s) want to share with the scientific community should be submitted to this section. An open peer-review process is used.
Documents and texts
Section ‘Documents and text’ hosts translations, comments or critical editions of unpublished or rare texts. Since content is not original, an open peer review takes place. Content in this section is sometimes invited.
News
‘News‘ section addresses seminars, meetings and congresses. Accounts of national or international projects and academic news at large – within the scope of the journal – are also published in this section. This articles are reviewd by journal editors.
Book reviews
Book reviews. These can be invited, based on journal editor's interest list or just submitted to journal’s attention. This is an Open Access section.
Copyright Notice
Article processing charges (APC)
The journal does not charge for the processing of submissions. Any request to the contrary should be immediately denounced to the Publisher.
Deposit Policy
- At the time of publication, the authors of the article may deposit the draft version (not the final version) in institutional archives with restricted access (e.g. Cineca, Anvur), indicating the details of the actual publication (journal title, volume, number, pages, and DOI).
- 18 months after publication, the article will be placed under a CC BY SA 4.0 license and stored on the journal's website. All rights remain with the author.
If the author wishes to request immediate Open Access publication of his/her contribution, without waiting for the end of the embargo period, a fee of EUR 500.00 will be charged. To make this type of request, please contact our administrative office (amministrazione@edizioniets.com) and the journal manager (journals@edizioniets.com), indicating: the title of the article, the details of the file to which it belongs, the details of the person to whom the invoice should be addressed, the existence of any research funding.
