Abstract

On July 14, 2023, an honorary seminar was held at the University of Genoa for the late John Gardner (1965-2019). The aim was to honour and celebrate his life by discussing some of the many topics he addressed in his extensive, diverse and influential academic works. This section collects the contributions of six of the ten key commentators at the seminar.
